Apex General Contracting offers comprehensive construction and roofing services, emphasizing reliability and quality. Our team of experienced professionals ensures that each project adheres to strict standards, providing clients with detailed and precise execution of remodeling, new construction, and roof maintenance programs. Apex General Contracting was started in 1992 as Apex Roofing by founder, Gale Bourne. In 1996, Andrew began working with Gale, becoming a partnership. In 2001, Andrew bought the business and began changing the scope of work to more general contracting, therefore changing the name to Apex General Contracting and Roofing, Inc. , beginning in Fairbanks in 1992, was originally named Apex Roofing, Inc., with the main principal having mainly roofing experience at the time. Due to the extreme temperature swings Alaska experiences throughout the year, Apex began to tackle the 'Hot Roof" issue that many houses and cabins had. The owner, Andrew Bryan came on staff in the spring of ’95, with 12 years of carpentry / residential contracting experience. In 1997, Apex actively began pursuing more light to medium commercial work, both in town and in the rural Alaskan villages.

Andrew bought Apex in the early spring of ’01 and changed the name to ‘Apex General Contracting and Roofing, Inc, to better encompass what they did as a whole. Throughout the next 23 years, Andrew worked with all four of his boys, as well as many other fine employees to build a niche both Fairbanks and in several villages, doing residential and commercial construction. Apex has worked in over 26 different villages throughout its tenure. Now, two of his sons, Drew and Tyler, are carrying on the Apex name with quality building projects.
