Our Story
Apex General Contracting was started in 1992 as Apex Roofing by founder, Gale Bourne. In 1996, Andrew began working with Gale, becoming a partnership. In 2001, Andrew bought the business and began changing the scope of work to more general contracting, therefore changing the name to Apex General Contracting and Roofing, Inc.
Throughout the next 23 years, Andrew worked with all four of his boys, as well as many other fine employees to build a niche both Fairbanks and in several villages, doing residential and commercial construction. Apex has worked in over 26 different villages throughout its tenure.
Now, two of his sons, Drew and Tyler, are carrying on the Apex name with quality building projects.
